Marak is part of the European Project IT’S You – Intercultural tools and social media for young people in action.
IT’S YOU responds to the horizontal priority of supporting educators and youth workers. It is aimed at youth workers who work with young people from both Europe and other countries, with intercultural roots, second and subsequent generations of migrants. The project works particularly with youth workers involved in intercultural education: pioneering, innovative, emerging professions, still little recognized and supported. IT’S YOU is also a response to the priority needed for minorities in terms of access to participation and active citizenship for young people, particularly those at risk of social exclusion.
With the objectives:
- Encourage young people to develop and improve their contributions to intercultural citizenship / improve the professional capacity of youth workers.
- To increase opportunities for an exchange of experiences and skills with other operators at the international level; to strengthen European circles of youth workers and young people in general on issues of intercultural citizenship.
